As the author of "The Miscalculations of Lightning GIRL", Stacy McAnulty had to decide if she wanted 'girl' in the title because it might deter male readers. This INTERACTIVE DISCUSSION session will examine reading habits of children, talk about ways to expand their literacy world, and look at how adults intentionally (or unintentionally) categorize readers and books.
