The current trend for media centers is to create a maker space. With budget cuts and a lack of funding how do you create one? During this session we will give you some helpful hints on how to create a makerspace with little to no budget. You will also learn some fun and easy maker activities that you can take back and use with your kids. We will be giving away two copies of Laura Fleming’s new book : The Kickstart Guide to Making GREAT Makerspaces, STEM books, and Picture books.
