Wave Readers to Raving Readers: How Book Club Impacts Students

Presenters will share the results of a year-long initiative to bring a book club to elementary students. This project, which was funded by a Dollar General Literacy Grant, had a significant impact on student achievement and readership. Presenters will share tips on how to apply for a Dollar General Literacy Grant and how to establish a successful book club at the elementary level. Raffle prizes will be given to a few lucky attendees.
